Families £500 worse off; 250,000 more in poverty; 800,000 see PIP cut

The Chancellor's spring statement is projected to leave lower-income families £500 worse off annually for the next five years. An estimated 250,000 more people, including 50,000 children, will fall into poverty. 800,000 benefit claimants will experience reduced Personal Independence Payments (PIP).
