Forțele navale olandeze se mândresc cu o navă produsă la Galați. Prințesa Țărilor de Jos a botezat nava făcută în România
The Dutch Navy has taken possession of a new vessel, the Den Helder, constructed at the Galați shipyard in Romania. The ship, which is the largest in the Dutch Royal Navy, was christened by Princess Amalia of the Netherlands. The Den Helder, measuring 180 meters in length, was built over four years by 800 workers. It is equipped to support military operations, featuring a helicopter deck, medical facilities, and capabilities for supplying equipment, ammunition, and fuel. The ship also includes advanced cybersecurity features. The construction highlights Romania's shipbuilding capabilities, though the country's navy currently lacks such advanced vessels. The project was carried out by Damen Shipyards, which owns the Galați facility.
