Garry Ringrose graduates from Tackle School in time for Ireland’s final exam against Italy

Ieland’s experienced centre paid a costly price for one poorly-timed tackle against Wales

Garry Ringrose completed World Rugby's Coaching Intervention Programme ("Tackle School") after receiving a red card and subsequent suspension for a dangerous tackle against Wales. The suspension covered three weeks, but successful completion of the program makes him available for Ireland's match against Italy. Ringrose's tackle was deemed accidental. The IRFU and the French Rugby Federation opposed the 20-minute red card vote for this year’s Six Nations.
