About three-quarters of the 1.2 million EVs and hybrids sold worldwide in February were delivered in China, according to Rho Motion.
Global EV sales surged in February, driven by a 76% increase in China, which accounted for approximately three-quarters of the 1.2 million EVs and hybrids sold worldwide. Overall, global sales jumped 50% year-over-year, with China experiencing an 87% increase in purchases. Battery-driven EV sales in China grew 46%, while plug-in hybrid sales grew 22%.
