Government’s domestic and sexual violence agency launches first national awareness campaign

‘Hardest Stories’ is the first national awareness-raising campaign by Cuan, the statutory agency dedicated to tackling and reducing domestic and sexual violence.

Cuan, Ireland's domestic and sexual violence agency, launched its first national awareness campaign, "Hardest Stories," to encourage victims and survivors to share their experiences. The campaign, part of the 'Zero Tolerance' national strategy, features fictional characters representing victims of domestic and sexual violence in TV and radio ads. It aims to increase reporting of these crimes, empower individuals to seek help, and provide information on how to support victims. The campaign will run across various media platforms and encourages the public to take an active role in tackling domestic, sexual and gender-based violence (DSGBV).
