Liu dos Santos moved from Mozambique to Enniscorthy, Ireland, where she is studying, working, and raising her son. She experienced initial difficulties with the English language and accent, but is improving through practice. She appreciates the friendly community in Enniscorthy, contrasting it with Mozambique where people are less outwardly sociable. She also notes the differences in climate, finding Ireland much colder, but her son has adapted well.
