Influencers to urge young people to not vape as part of UK government campaign

The UK government has launched a campaign, featuring vaping influencers Big Manny and Bodalia, to discourage young people from vaping. The initiative, funded by £62 million, will use platforms like YouTube and Instagram to highlight health risks, following a rise in underage vaping. The Tobacco and Vapes Bill aims to restrict flavors, packaging, and marketing appealing to children. Public health officials and experts warn of potential lung damage, nicotine addiction, and long-term health risks. A new study will track 100,000 young people over ten years to assess vaping's health impacts.
