Inside the committee that will look at the nation’s biggest secrets and when you can expect to see info released

Republican-led task force will make recommendations to declassify documents related to high-profile assassinations, the existence of extraterrestrials, prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein and more

A Republican-led House task force, the "Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets," will review and recommend declassification of documents related to national secrets, including high-profile assassinations (JFK, RFK, MLK), the Epstein case, 9/11, COVID-19 origins, and the existence of extraterrestrial life/UAPs. While lacking subpoena power, the task force is backed by the House Oversight Committee to compel testimony if needed and aims to build upon Trump's previous declassification efforts.
