James Stunt claimed diplomatic immunity and called black Met police officer 'Uncle Tom' in bizarre tirade

James Stunt, a socialite, was arrested at his Kensington home in 2020 after a domestic assault report. During his arrest, he was caught on camera claiming diplomatic immunity and calling a black police officer, PC Andrew Harper, an offensive term, 'Uncle Tom.' He threatened to get the officer sacked and referenced his supposed connections to George Osborne and King Charles. Stunt was convicted of racially aggravated harassment in 2021 and received community service. He was later cleared of involvement in a £207 million money laundering operation.
