Clint Hill, a Secret Service agent, was commended for diving onto the presidential limousine during the 1963 assassination of John F. Kennedy in Dallas. Despite receiving awards, he blamed himself for not reacting sooner and suffered from depression, relying on cigarettes and alcohol.
