House will be searched with hope of finding evidence of child’s whereabouts
Gardaí are excavating a garden in Drogheda as part of their investigation into the disappearance and suspected murder of Kyran Durnin, who vanished in 2022. This is the third "intrusive" search of a property related to the case, with previous searches conducted at other locations. The house being searched is of interest to the investigation, as Kyran spent time there. No arrests have been made, despite suspects being brought in to custody last December. Gardaí have appealed to the public to refrain from speculation that may disrupt the investigation and add to trauma experienced by the family.
