Lack of neuro staff failing patients in Donegal – campaigners

The Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) reports that Donegal continues to lack adequate community neurological rehabilitation teams, despite a government commitment from 2019 to establish them nationwide. Currently, 778 patients in Donegal are waiting for neurology services, and key positions remain unfilled. The NAI is urging the government to fund community neurorehabilitation teams in the upcoming Budget to address regional inequities and improve access to vital services for patients with neurological conditions.
