Lib Dems determined to drive change on domestic abuse law, says MP at conference

Liberal Democrat MP Josh Babarinde announced at the party's spring conference that he will propose an amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill to create specific domestic abuse offenses. Babarinde, who experienced domestic abuse as a child, stated the current law fails to adequately protect survivors. Babarinde said he has support from MPs across the house, including some Labour MPs.
