Limerick hurler Kyle Hayes disqualified from driving for two years after failed appeal

Five-time All-Ireland winner was clocked driving 155km/h and overtaking nine cars

Limerick hurler Kyle Hayes lost his appeal against a dangerous driving conviction and received a two-year driving ban, effective June 12th. The conviction stems from an incident in July 2024 where he was caught driving 155 km/h and overtaking nine cars on the Cork-Mallow road. This conviction may trigger a review of a previous suspended sentence for violent disorder.
