The captain of the ferry made an emergency call reporting that an “incident” had taken place on the ferry which left Fishguard port at 2pm and arrived in Rosslare around 5pm.
A man has been arrested and is being questioned in connection with the death of a woman on the Stena Nordica ferry from Fishguard, Wales, to Rosslare Europort. Gardaí declared a crime scene upon arrival, and the arrested man is believed to have known the deceased. The ferry captain reported an incident, leading to a "medical emergency" and subsequent investigation. A post-mortem examination will be conducted on the woman's body.
