Man guilty over £1.38m watch heist before jewellery store manager took own life

Mannix Pedro, 37, has been found guilty of conspiring to commit a £1.38 million watch robbery at a jewellery store in Richmond, south-west London. The robbery led to the death of the store manager, Oliver White, 27, who took his own life the next day. None of the stolen watches were recovered or insured. Pedro was convicted by a 10-1 majority jury verdict after over 23 hours of deliberation at Woolwich Crown Court.
