A rail replacement service is in operation
Manchester Airport passengers using trains are warned of line closures due to engineering work this week. Some Transpennine Express services between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport will be disrupted, with affected trains terminating at intermediate stations. A rail replacement bus service will operate for impacted passengers, with pick-up points at Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport bus stations. The disruption coincides with February half term, when around 800,000 passengers are expected to pass through the airport.
