Mark Carney promet un corridor national de commerce et d’énergie

Following his first meeting with provincial and territorial premiers, Prime Minister Mark Carney announced measures to reduce interprovincial trade barriers, aiming for a "national trade and energy corridor" in response to trade tensions. Key initiatives include streamlining environmental assessments for major projects and introducing legislation for "complete free trade" by July 1st. While provinces and territories welcomed the initiative, Quebec Premier Legault emphasized the need for social acceptance regarding pipeline projects.
