Georgeta Serban described Daniel Blanaru (pictured) as “extremely possessive, paranoid, and controlling” at the Central Criminal Court on Monday.
At the trial for the murder of Larisa Serban, her mother testified that the accused, Daniel Blanaru, was possessive, paranoid, and controlling. She stated Blanaru threatened to kill Larisa if her family interfered and accused Larisa of not loving him. The mother also said Larisa was stressed, but loved Blanaru and they briefly separated but reconciled for their daughter's sake. The accused took Larisa's social welfare money. The night before Larisa's death, she was upset.
