A young woman raped by her landlord in 2022 gave a victim impact statement in court, detailing the trauma and violation she experienced, including the further violation of her counseling notes being accessed by the defense. The landlord was found guilty after a trial, and sentencing was adjourned until April. The woman urged other victims to come forward.
