Independent MP Alexandra Attalides has requested an update on the status of criminal investigations into the 2013 financial meltdown in Cyprus, noting no convictions or updates have been reported. The probe covers four key areas: funds transferred via a Caribbean offshore company, data deletion at Bank of Cyprus, loans to Politically Exposed Persons, and deposit outflows during the crisis. The last update was in 2017, and she has asked the House ethics committee to discuss the matter.
