Nearly all University of Oxford students screened for ADHD are told they have it after just 90 minute assessment

A high percentage of University of Oxford students screened for ADHD through a 90-minute, university-funded assessment, are diagnosed with it, granting them 25% extra time on exams. The university's SpLD screening system approves a higher percentage than some NHS Trusts, and the process is shorter than typical ADHD diagnosis procedures, raising concerns about the legitimacy of the diagnoses. Oxford's disabled student population is also statistically higher than the rest of the UK's higher education sector.
