Neil Gray 'has confidence in NHS Fife management' despite trans doctor row

The SNP Health Secretary refused to comment on nurse Sandie Peggie being called to a separate disciplinary hearing while her employment tribunal against the health board goes on.

Neil Gray expressed confidence in NHS Fife's management despite a dispute involving nurse Peggie and trans doctor Dr. Beth Upton. Peggie alleges harassment due to sharing a changing room, which NHS Fife and Dr. Upton deny, with the case adjourned until July. Gray stated it's NHS Fife's responsibility to handle the matter and confirmed his confidence. He noted the government provided guidance on the Equality Act and single-sex spaces. NHS Fife plans a hearing against Peggie for misconduct, patient care issues, and misgendering Dr. Upton.
