Trans doctor changing room controversy 'exposes the recklessness of Nicola Sturgeon's self

John Swinney has been urged to get a grip of guidance surrounding single sex spaces to stop women being 'victimised' by trans activists.

Nurse Sandie Peggie brought a case to an employment tribunal against NHS Fife and a transgender doctor, claiming unlawful harassment under the Equality Act due to being required to share a changing room. The tribunal heard Peggie felt embarrassed and intimidated, leading to her suspension. The doctor, who is male-born but identifies as a woman, was permitted to use the changing room under Nicola Sturgeon's self-ID policies, which allow individuals to self-identify their gender without medical proof. The case highlights criticism of these policies, supported by Labour, Greens, and Lib Dems, which have led to conflicts over single-sex spaces.
