UNICEF, EU, and ILO launched the €13 million "Supporting Sustainable Social Protection Systems in Nigeria" (SUSI) project to enhance Nigeria's social protection through an improved National Social Register, capacity building, stronger legal frameworks, and a better Social Protection Management Information System. The project focuses on policy, financial mechanisms, and shock-responsiveness in Abia, Benue, Oyo, and Sokoto States, aligning with Nigeria’s national social protection goals.
