Noua schemă de compensare la energie. Ministrul Burduja propune minim 3 luni pentru curentul electric și 12 luni pentru gaze
Romania's Energy Minister, Sebastian Burduja, has proposed a new energy compensation scheme to maintain affordable energy prices and prevent sudden bill increases. The scheme would apply for a minimum of three months for electricity and 12 months for gas, aiming to cover the gas heating season and support stock replenishment. Romania currently has some of the lowest energy prices in the EU, ranking fourth for gas and fifth for electricity. Burduja emphasized the need to mitigate geopolitical and external decision impacts and highlighted plans to double production capacity by 2025 as a long-term solution.
