A former Oxford favourite is low on ambience, high on price - and Tom is distinctly browned off



A review by Tom Parker Bowles states that Browns restaurant, once known for its sexy atmosphere, now offers food that is "politely inedible," a decline from its earlier, more decent quality. The chain, originally started by Jeremy Mogford in 1973, is now part of a group that includes Harvester, All Bar One, and Toby Carvery.
