Pentagon’s DEI purge flags over 26K images for removal. Which ones?

The U.S. defence secretary had given the military until Wednesday to remove content that highlights diversity efforts in its ranks following Trump’s executive order.

The Pentagon is purging diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) content, including over 26,000 images, from its platforms following a directive to remove "politically charged" words. The purge targets women and minorities, including historical milestones. Images of the Enola Gay aircraft, Tuskegee Airmen and World War II Women Air Service Pilots are affected. While some images have been removed, others remain visible. The Air Force reversed the removal of the Enola Gay photo after backlash.
