Social Security Scotland urges new Adult Disability Payment (ADP) applicants to include supporting information to expedite decisions. New ADP claims take an average of 42 working days to process. As of January, 433,055 people were receiving ADP, with 34% being new applicants and 66% transferred from DWP. ADP payments are made four weeks in arrears, with weekly rates ranging from £28.70 to £184.30, paid every four weeks.
