New Zealand police are launching a new search in the Marokopa area of the Waikato region for Tom Phillips and his three children, who have been missing in the wilderness since December 2021 following a custody dispute. Phillips, who does not have legal custody of the children, is wanted on a warrant after failing to appear in court on charges of wasting police time and resources related to a previous disappearance in September 2021. Sightings have been rare.
