Polish prosecutors probe an exhibition of Russian armor from Ukraine that contained live explosives

Polish prosecutors are considering a criminal investigation into an exhibition of damaged Russian military vehicles from Ukraine, held in 2022, after live explosives were discovered inside one of the vehicles. The vehicles, including a T-72 tank and missile systems, were displayed to boost Ukrainian morale. Live grenades and ammunition were found during an inventory, and the vehicles are now securely stored. Prosecutors are also probing allegations of mismanagement, including the improper expenditure of funds for vehicle transportation, which was beyond the agency's mandate.
