A University of Nottingham study found that poor sleep quality is linked to increased belief in conspiracy theories. Two studies involving over 1,000 participants revealed that those with poorer sleep were more likely to endorse conspiracy narratives, especially after exposure to related content. Depression was also identified as a potential factor in conspiracy belief.
