Keir Starmer believes Vladimir Putin will breach a peace deal in Ukraine unless security arrangements are in place. The Prime Minister and Defence Secretary John Healey are meeting with military planners to discuss a peacekeeping operation and deter further Russian aggression. Foreign Secretary David Lammy stated Putin shouldn't have veto power over European peacekeepers. Volodymyr Zelensky believes lasting peace is achievable this year.
