Romanian squatters, who had been occupying a dangerous Dublin property for months, disappeared overnight when gardaí arrived to arrest 27 of them for contempt of court orders to vacate the premises. The landlord's barrister thanked Gardaí, including a Romanian speaker, for their assistance. The court had previously heard about the dangerous conditions, fire risks, and squalor of the property.
