Rubbish from Sandringham used by London Fashion Week designers to make clothes

Designers VIN + OMI have partnered with Sandringham estate to create a sustainable fabric from recyclable waste, specifically milk cartons, inspired by the average UK milk consumption. Collaborating with King Charles since 2019, they previously used materials from Highgrove and Sandringham's wood waste. This season, they developed a spongey, leather-like fabric from cream tea waste, set to debut at London Fashion Week for outerwear. Their initiative addresses the ban on exotic skins, offering a sustainable alternative. Their work reflects a commitment to innovative, eco-friendly fashion solutions.
