Solar eclipse: UK forecast for clear skies during first partial eclipse of 2025 on Saturday

Current weather forecasts for the date of the eclipse suggest most people in UK will be able to see the Moon pass in front of the Sun



The UK Met Office forecasts clear skies for most of England and Wales during the partial solar eclipse on March 29, 2025, visible in the UK from 9:56 am to 12:14 pm, with the peak in London around 11:03 am. Northern parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland may experience cloud cover. This will be the last partial solar eclipse of 2025 for Europe.
