South Korea Signs Security Agreement With Major Defence Buyer Poland

South Korea and Poland signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen their partnership in politics, economy, defense, and culture through 2028. Poland is South Korea's largest military equipment buyer, and the agreement aims to enhance transregional security cooperation, particularly within the NATO-IP4 framework. Poland will act as a hub for promoting South Korean military equipment in Europe and support Ukraine. Additionally, the two nations discussed expanding trade in food products, with Poland being South Korea's fifth-largest EU trading partner and South Korea the largest Asian investor in Poland.
