The Daily Mail races past a quarter of a million digital subscribers

Ever since it was founded in 1896 by Alfred Harmsworth in the age of the telegraph, the Daily Mail has thrived on the innovative use of the latest technology.



The Daily Mail has surpassed 250,000 digital subscribers, with over 92,000 subscribing to Mail+ Editions and over 163,000 subscribing to Mail+ for subscriber-only articles on MailOnline. 21,000 subscribers are in the US. The Daily Mail also appointed Celia Duncan as Global Women's Editor.
