Top 19 Adult Disability Payment health conditions providing people with up to £737 each month

The devolved disability benefit can support people with a disability, long-term illness or physical or mental health condition.

Scotland's Adult Disability Payment (ADP), replacing PIP, supports over 374,000 people with disabilities, long-term illnesses, or physical/mental health conditions, potentially providing up to £737 monthly. The Scottish Government estimates ADP will support 612,000 people by 2028/29 with almost £4.5 billion. Over 500 health conditions are supported, categorized under 21 medical descriptors. Claimants must complete part two of the application within eight weeks of part one to ensure payments are backdated. Key condition categories include mental and behavioural disorders, musculoskeletal diseases, and nervous system diseases. Claimants can provide supporting information to help with their claim.
