Trump administration pulls US out of body investigating Ukraine invasion

The Trump administration is withdrawing the US from the International Centre for the Prosecution of the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine (ICPA), reversing the Biden administration's commitment to hold Russia accountable for the invasion of Ukraine. This decision follows tensions between Trump and Zelenskyy and a reduction in the Justice Department's war crimes accountability team, despite previous pledges to support Ukraine and pursue accountability for war crimes. The ICPA will continue its work without US participation.
