ANDORF. Beim Bahnhof in Andorf krachte ein 17-Jähriger mit dem Auto durch die Glaswand beim Stiegenabgang, das Fahrzeug kam erst auf den Gleisen zu stehen. Ein Güterzug konnte nicht mehr rechtzeitig bremsen, die drei Insassen konnten sich rechtzeitig aus dem Auto befreien.
A 17-year-old driver, under the influence of alcohol and without a valid license, crashed his Tesla through the glass wall of Andorf railway station, landing on the tracks. The driver and two passengers were ejected from the vehicle, sparing them from being struck by an oncoming freight train that collided with the car despite emergency braking. The incident required a prolonged rescue operation due to the vehicle being an electric car. The police and fire department responded extensively throughout the night.
