Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, was conferred with an honorary law degree by the University of Calabar during its 37th Convocation Ceremony and 50th anniversary celebration. Wike stated the award, which he said places his name in the university's golden records, will inspire him to further contribute to education, governance, and national development. He also acknowledged President Tinubu's contributions to education.
