Enver Marius Zueros, a transgender man out on bond for attempted murder in California, is accused of kidnapping and assaulting an 89-year-old woman in South Carolina after she stopped giving him money. Zueros, who is reported to cross-dress on social media, allegedly drove from California to South Carolina, targeted the woman after her brother (who Zueros was allegedly married to) died, and restrained her in her car after gaining access to her home. He was apprehended in North Augusta while charging his electric vehicle and has been charged with first-degree burglary, kidnapping, and attempted murder.
