A Delta Air Lines flight carrying 162 passengers made an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) after smoke was detected on board. The flight, en route to Sydney, Australia, returned to LAX 30 minutes after takeoff. The smoke originated from the galley, and the plane landed safely. Passengers were rebooked on another flight.
