Investigators are continuing the search for a college student from Virginia who vanished earlier this month while visiting the Dominican Republic
Sudiksha Konanki, a 20-year-old University of Pittsburgh student from Virginia, vanished in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on March 6 during spring break. She was last seen at the Riu República Hotel during a power outage. Dominican police and the FBI are searching for her, employing drones, helicopters, and detection dogs. Her family has sought to widen the investigation. She was visiting with five other female students when she went missing.
