Woman shot dead in Valentine’s Day pub attack named by police as hunt for gunman continues

Police are searching the River Thames for the suspect who is believed to have entered the water

A 43-year-old woman, Lisa Smith from Slough, was shot dead at the Three Horseshoes pub in Kent on Valentine's Day. Police were called shortly after 7 pm, and she was pronounced dead outside the pub. The suspect is believed to have entered the River Thames and is being actively searched for. A car and firearm linked to the suspect were found near the Dartford Crossing. The suspect is known to the victim, and police are focusing on locating him, not ruling out the possibility of him being in the water. There is no ongoing risk to the public as only one suspect is involved. The pub was busy, and patrons were ushered back to their homes due to the shock of the incident.
