Dr Astrit Rrukaj, 41, was working as a ward doctor at St George's Hospital in Stafford when he invited a female colleague to his temporary home, where he assaulted her.

Rrukaj invited Ms. A to his home where he pressured her to drink vodka, tried to feed her mango, and played sexually suggestive music. He then allegedly kissed her, rubbed his groin against her, and assaulted her in the street as she tried to call a friend. Rrukaj denied the assault, claiming he only kissed her cheek and that they had agreed to spend the night together.
