Gjert Ingebrigtsen’s trial taking place in Sandnes, Norway
Gjert Ingebrigtsen, father and former coach of Jakob Ingebrigtsen, pleaded not guilty to physically abusing two of his children, including Jakob, as his trial began in Sandnes, Norway. The charges, brought by Norwegian police following accusations from Jakob and his brothers, stem from alleged abuse over several years. The trial is expected to last until May 16th, with Gjert facing up to six years in prison.
