GAA President Jarlath Burns and Minister Patrick O’Donovan officially turned the sod on the Oranmore Maree GAA One Club's Renville Sports Grounds project. The development will include multiple pitches, community facilities, a walking track, playground, and heritage site, addressing the club's urgent need for expanded facilities due to growing membership. The club has invested over €1.1m to date and applied for LSSIF funding and will need to raise in the order of an additional €1m. Derek Cullinane is the contact for the project.
