Kibbutz Kfar Aza, heavily attacked by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023, is now filled with homes serving as living memorials. 62 of the kibbutz's 700 residents were killed and 19 were taken hostage. Some homes are being renovated in hopes that people will return.
